Dr. Patrick Paradis

Dr. Paradis and Sam

Dr. Paradis is a native Oregonian. He grew up in the Woodburn area with seven brothers and sisters. He graduated from Woodburn high school in 1972 and then attended Oregon State University, where he received degrees in Zoology (BS 1976) and poultry science (MS 1977). In the Fall of 1978 he entered the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University, where he received his degree in veterinary medicine in 1982.

After working in practices in Lakeview and Roseburg, Oregon (including Wildlife Safari), he returned to Woodburn in the spring of 1984 and became associated with the Woodburn Pet Hospital. He is now the owner of the practice. His professional interests are small animal general medicine and surgery, exotic animal work, canine dentistry and practice management.

Dr. Paradis resides in Woodburn with his wife Susan, and four children, Nicholas, Tyler, and twins Lauren and Kyle. He has a yellow Labrador Retriever named Sammy (pictured). He enjoys hunting, fishing, gardening and is an avid sports fan.

 

 

Dr. Jennifer Stoffer

Jennifer Stoffer is a Portland native, who majored in Biology at the University of Portland, and graduated from Oregon State University's veterinary medicine program in 2003. Dr. Stoffer practiced ambulatory equine medicine in Newberg for 4 1/2 years before coming to Woodburn Pet Hospital. She resides in the small town of Gaston with her husband, young daughter, and menagerie of horses, dogs, and cats. Dr. Stoffer raises PRE horses (Andalusians) and has several foals each spring on their farm. Her canine family includes two rhodesian ridgebacks and a golden retreiver. Her professional interests include geriatric medicine, dentistry, and enjoys educating clients to provide healthy, quality lives for their pets .
